Remember that V-Day should not only be about celebrating romantic love. Love from your friends, family and ESPECIALLY YOURSELF should be celebrated too!
A holiday is whatever you make of it, so let’s make some new traditions!

Pretend You’re on a Cooking Show. Prop up your phone and record yourself making a meal as if you’re hosting your own cooking show. Make it a tradition, whether you’re alone or not! Your videos will be so much fun to rewatch.
Make a Valentine’s Day Playlist. Curate a playlist for yourself that brings you true joy so that you can dance your heart out to it!
Schedule an Edible Arrangement. Place an order for a sweet treat or a floral arrangement to be delivered to you on Valentine’s Day. Remember to include a note of love to yourself; there’s no love like self-love!
Take the day off of social media. Give your mental health a break for a bit. You can always catch up on the lovey-dovey posts the following morning.

That restaurant you’ve been wanting to try? Head on out there. If you feel awkward eating alone, try to go at a time when they’re not busy. Or you could just order in! But don’t forget the dessert.
Go shopping for a fresh new winter coat! February and March are the months to snag a huge discount on coats since stores need to make room for their upcoming spring and summer items.
Sign up for a free workout or yoga class you’ve never tried before. Emphasis on FREE. You never know – you might find yourself hooked on this new class and even meet a new workout buddy.

Pay it Forward! One of the best mood boosters is taking time to give back. Some ideas are donating to a charity, paying for someone’s coffee behind you, or even leaving a generous tip.
Get an early start on Spring Cleaning. Those winter sweatpants with holes in them? Toss ‘em. Those shoes you haven’t worn in 2 years? Donate ‘em. Take a little time to do a light purge of some of your belongings that no longer serve you.
These Valentine’s Day activities will not only help shake things up but will surely add a bit of humor and fun to your day!
Embrace the day in whatever way you choose, and make sure to keep the focus on the love you have for yourself and for those close to you.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
